Early 20th Century Kashan Rug

A stunning early 20th Century Persian Kashan rug, woven by a highly skilled group of weavers, comprised of an all-over intensely woven light and dark indigo, crimson, cream, and mint green colored floral and scrolling vine pattern on a deep indigo background. The central medallion is similar in design with contrasting scrolls and delicate flowers, on a rich crimson background. The border is wide, with a similar design to the medallion, woven with identical richly colored hues. This is truly the work of a master weaver!
