Early 20th Century Khotan Rug

A wonderful early 20th Century Central Asian Khotan rug with an incredible asymmetrical large-scale floral medallion woven in crimson, violet, black, and cream colored wool. The medallion lives amidst a pink field with flowering branches surrounded by a boldly detailed border with scrolled vines and leaves woven in similarly colored wool.
