Incredible Mid-20th Century Ghashgaei Kilim

An incredible mid-20th Century Persian Ghashgaei kilim with a beautiful asymmetrical woven pattern containing three large diamond medallions each composed of multiple multicolored stripes amidst a field of multicolored flowers on a crimson background. The diamond dorms are repeated along the edges of the field. The border is thin with a geometric pattern woven in complementary natural wool colors.
